This seems to be OK but the only point that I'm rethinking on is that we lose the credits if it is not used within 4 months of activation. Surely, it's a great loss if we are unable to find time.

creativeherb - having a 50mbps connection wouldn't make any difference in VUDU case as of this writing. Max throughput seems to be 4mbps. Having more pipe won't help. Most cable connections will supply this bandwidth (mine should according to tests, not sure why VUDU doesn't recognize it), so there are more people with this than one might think. Unlimited streaming in HD isn't likely to happen any time soon until/unless some kind of compression could happen -- or maybe if P2P is employed.

I think many people's internet connection is far from fast enough for this. I think I'll keep using my cool looking Antec casing Media Centre for now. Of course when I get unlimited 50mbps internet connection, I wouldn't mind subscribing to a HD movie service. Would have to be unlimited monthly streaming though.

I have a hard enough time choosing between next generation consoles, let alone another box that is dedicated strictly to movies. With Sony and Microsoft playing the "be-all, end-all box" battle, and considering how easy it is for us to hook our computers up to our televisions, it really makes me wonder about the value of these. Then again, I'm not an HD aficionado, so it may not be for me to say. With a receding economy, and so many other fuller-feature boxes out there (including laptops), I wonder how far Vudu will go ...
