As a 25 year semi-professional musican who has played in over ten successful bands I have seen more bands destroyed by meddling girlfriends or wives then by drugs and alcohol combined. You don't take your girl to work with you, don't bring her to band practice. Did I say that strong enough? You forgot one very important aspect about being a good bandmate: leave your girlfriend at home.
