Funny you should mention that it could become a farce, “similar to the neverending stream of horror flicks..” because I just read on yahoo today that Michael Bay is in talks to produce a new Freddy Kreuger film (ugh).

And of course, using the hollywood movie script fad-of-the-week, they want to make it a “pre-quel” … (double-ugh)
