There's good indication that they are censoring certain types of information which doesn't agree with their political view. The censorship on Youtube is very obvious. It's getting to the point where Google can compete with anybody .. besides the content business, let's not forget google checkout (which I think should be viable against paypal in a year or two) and the everpresent gmail (replacing hotmail as the premier free webmail service). I've heard some people say that google base could compete with ebay but I've never checked it out much myself. This is a company that's definitely on the ball. Honestly it's at this point where you wish one of their competitors would step up to the challenge so that there wouldn't be the threat of one company gaining too much power over the market. Wow.
