According to <a href="http://www.mass.gov/dos/bluelaw/index.htm" rel="nofollow">the Massachusetts Blue Laws</a>, Thanksgiving Day falls into the category of <i>Restricted Holidays</i> for retail stores (except some convenience stores), meaning they canNOT be open today. Our neighborhood Whole Foods was open last night for some extended hours. BTW, yams are good for you! Happy Thanksgiving, TDavid

According to the Massachusetts Blue Laws, Thanksgiving Day falls into the category of Restricted Holidays for retail stores (except some convenience stores), meaning they canNOT be open today. Our neighborhood Whole Foods was open last night for some extended hours. BTW, yams are good for you!

I was misled to beleive that any Walmart was opened and spent a large amount of time going out to the store only to find out it was closed. For next year or upcoming events make sure to clarify the difference between a walmart store and a 24 hour walmart store when stating which is opened.
