Space is not the final frontier at ToonDoo |
With my Tablet PC I dabbled at making some badly drawn comics, but with ToonDoo (Free, no ads detected as of this writing), I was able to make the following comic in less than five minutes using already supplied graphics (click for larger version):
You can upload your own images, so Tablet PC and Wacom tablet animators can go hog wold. The program Comic Life for the Mac is considerably more configurable (compare against this Comic Life comic and reviewed at my Mac blog here) but ToonDoo is promising.
ToonDoo is better compared against Strip Creator which I tried one time. These sites are fairly gimmicky and am not sure how much time people will spend there. ToonDoo is running a contest to create a comic on global warming:
We’ve all heard about global warming, icebergs breaking up and sea levels rising, just a wee bit, but definitely rising. What’s your take on all this? Create a ToonDoo and have your say!
