Behind the Hmmcast
Don’t laugh now but one of my favorite arcade games was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Yeah, the graphics weren’t that good but it was also one of the first four player arcade games. Sure, TMNT is sort of mindless button mashing, but I’m into it. Today I put down the 400 Microsoft Points and played a few games with our middle teenager.
Another 4-player game that I hope comes to Xbox Live Arcade someday is Midway’s NBA Jam. I remember when I worked at the restaurant as a manager after we switched from breakfast to lunch successfully on Sunday another manager and I would head over to the arcade in the mall and play a quick game of NBA Jam during our break. Sometimes we would do well and other times we’d get spanked. Never boring.

LOL, I wondered if anybody would notice. You win some pizza, darkmoon. I guess Leonardo’s katana is a cutting instrument of sorts

i loved the TMNT arcade side scroller. i celebrated the day it came home to my nintendo. then i turned on my local NY radio station and got down with T-U-R-T-L-E power by Vanilla Ice. rock.-

mikull, what did you think of the Turtle movies? I liked the first one, but it was kind of downhill from there. I really liked the old cartooons though.

i agree about the movies… †he first was a lot of fun, but it really just got silly after that. the old cartoons were fun- the whole idea initially was really cool. i’m not sure how i feel about the new movie just yet, but the cgi looks really nice.
