Free Desktop Wallpaper: Space Needle from Bainbridge ferry |
Picture taken March 10, 2007 from the Bainbridge Ferry leaving Seattle. The Seattle to Bainbridge ferry on a clear day is one of the most majestic sights of Seattle. Even with cloudy, dark skies it’s still an artful component of the cityscape.

You can see an example of what this looks like on my desktop here.

Hey, you were on Bainbridge? Did you try to call?

Hehe, didn’t pass your neck of the woods until pretty late, Sterling. We were out donating to the local casinos.

If you were at the Suquamish Clearwater Casino then you were about a mile from my house. If I had known you were going to be there, I would have shot over the bridge to say “hi”.

Darn, didn’t realize you were that close to Clearwater! I thought you were closer to Bremerton for some reason. Yes, we were there and then later visited the Point. I’ll remember this in the future when we head that direction. We don’t go there in the winter that much, but as it warms up and the Mariners start playing we’ll make the 1.5 hour drive up there more.

We used to live down on the south end, but we moved up to the north end a couple of years ago. Yeah, if you’re ever up this way and want to meet up, just call or e-mail.

Randomly came across the view of SEA from Bainbridge….. I have not been able to STOP thinking of Seattle since I visited for the first time last October, and this only made it better for me. I LOVE that city/area… gorgeous! For someone from New Orleans with a serious love of geography/topography, it’s a dream come true.
