Kelly Osbourne’s music career has never really taken off beyond her brief success covering Madonna’s Papa Don’t Preach. And it isn’t going to lead to a stint in Playboy magazine either, at least in her current condition, as long as 80 year old Hugh Hefner has anything to say about it.
Via Sound Generator Hugh said they didn’t airbrush to that extent and:
“”I can’t see it happening somehow.”
Haven’t heard Kelly’s second album but according to an article in andpop.com she claims:
“I’m really proud of my second album, I still think it’s great. People didn’t give it a chance. If it was released by someone else I think people would have loved it.”
I’m not so sure about that. Blaming her music success on Ozzy’s shadow is weak. Looking over her official website (warning: sound onload) that hasn’t been updated since June 2005, she certainly hasn’t helped herself.
Despite being oddly curious in an accident scene sort of way, I’m surpriseed the Ozzman consented to allow his daughter to violate the Black Sabbath classic tune Changes.
I thought Kelly was going the fashion direction? She could have some better success there or with real estate like her brother Jack.
I LOVE KELLY!! She is amazing!! she makes people feel good about themselves. she doesn’t have to be like anyone else just herself she is a good person to look up to %-). the message she sends to me is that you can be who ever you want! you can wear whatever you want! Kelly 2 me is just amazing. she has an amazing personality and is truthful she doesn’t have to pretend to be something she is not and i LOVE that about her:love::-p So why is everyone talking sh*t about her why doesn’t everyone think of there own problems and not get hung up someone Else. if you ask me it is really SAD!!

People should lay off Kelly. Just because she puts herself out there it doesn’t mean she deserves trash-talk. Kelly is 100% real (which can’t be said about many other celebrities) and she is an excellent role model. Yes she’s taken drugs and boozed but she’s came through it. At the end of the day, Hef isn’t the most attractive man in the world and ,having been around longer than time itself, should realize that there is such a thing as ‘inner’ beauty. Kelly practically glows with inner beauty and if we had more idols liker her around then ,undoubtedly, there would be fewer teenagers starving themselves to look like their favorite size-zero celeb. So what are my final words? Open your eyes Hef, and stop watching those blond beauties bouncing around just long enough to see that Kelly deserves Playboy and much, much more.
