Scored 32% on video game addiction test |
Played more videogames when I was younger and likely would have scored higher then. Thanks for the link Ken Edwards who scored 85%. Wonder what how his cohort Matt Paprocki scored?
I may play video games but they don’t rule my life. Good for me. But I should be careful not to fall in the grasp of the loving glow of the TV or monitor.
My wife took the test and scored 17%:
Why did you even take this test? You probably don’t even know who Mario is! Do the world a favor and buy a console and a dozen games so people don’t think you are lame.
Here are the results of our boys:
Age 16: 52%
Video games are a big portion of your life, maybe too big of a portion. They are not a means of social interaction, despite what you might think. Go outside.
Age 15: 48%

I’m not sure why question #18 is out of order, Rinkx. It’s there though.

Er, I mean I’m 18.

I would have scored about there when I was in my teens, Rinkx, although after getting married I have since become more of a video game collector than player. I’m sure in my retirement years I’ll make up for some of this lost time during the earning years.

Only got a 52%, to be honest I was expecting something much much higher. I guess I play video games a lot, but I have never let them interfere with my life.

Wow I scored 40% and am 16 years old which is probably not too bad! There is a serious side to this though, because computer game addiction is becoming more and more of a reality for the community in general.

I have a 21 year old son who plays war craft video game 24/7 , he does not want to work or go to school , he does not have a girlfriend , he make every excuse not to do either, I know I am enabling him by letting him life in the house for free, I want to put him out of the house but I think he needs help, I put him in counselling but I don’t know what I need to do for this particular problem. This is so stressful and at my wit end, any suggestions?
