TD the iZ got various modes you can cycle through by pressing the left belly button. 3 modes or so and then the 4th turns it of (it says then “catch you on the flip side”).
while you use it as a speaker it would only color flash its nose to the music. and burps and makes sounds at times.
its more a music making device. various beats and sounds. so unplug the speaker cable and turn it on by pressing on the belly button in the middle. there are also 4 buttons around (up, right, down, left). for mode control (left), volume (right), speed faster (up), speed slower (down). RTFM lol
in the music playing and composing modes you can tweak sounds and beats by turning its ears into various positions.
and the “antenna” above its eyes is a motion sensor. it will play various sounds depending on the mode it is in when you flick it with your fingers. see it like a finger boxing sensor lol
now the most funny thing you can do with it is tickle it to death lol. it always puts a smile on our faces.
to tickle it: when its off. grab it in one hand and use your thumb to press the living sh*t in a fast pace out of the middle of the i Button. center of its belly. don’t stop. keep pressing. as fast as you can. keep going for at least 20-30 seconds. it will laugh its ass off. and will fart from laughing so hard. keep pressing. then release the button. and it will do a very funny and relieving after chuckle.
also its a little attention whore. just ignore it after the laughing. it will make sounds like breaking glass, ringing phone, burps loud and shouts “over here” etc. it will take a while to warm up with it. we almost returned the first one right away to the store and that was with one we only paid $15 USD for on sale. now we ordered the second one and shed out even $30 for it to give it some company lol.

the newer product from Zizzle is the Zoundz. you gotta check this one out
we found it on sale for $25 at Kmart and bought 2 (after we tested the first one we got another one). I have been eying on it since weeks. But didn’t want to shed its MSRP of $50. Its a very cool device to create music, record your own voice and do effects to it and use it as a beat or melody. it also works as a clock, alarm clock, sleep timer with soothing sounds, lights up in many colors to your own created music or to a connected music source. you change sounds by moving objects around on its flat surface. the objects contain coils. something like RF ID tags so it knows what objects you put on what hot spot through electro magnetic fields. pretty cool stuff really. much less hectically and more soothing than the iZ. I will probably use it for creating license free background music with moaning sound clips for our adult video productions.

Thanks for the detailz on the iZ, JP. I still don’t get the attraction really, but it isn’t for me, it’s something my wife wanted.

You’re right, TD.
Rod Serling was a genius writer, and the black/white medium was essential to the translation of his art to the small screen.
Call me a minimalist, but my favorite part of this Hmmcast was the guitar strum at the end.

Well if you like the outro, Vince, then prepare yourself for Hmmcast #45
