Major Nelson posted the top Xbox 360 titles of 2006. I guess nobody is counting the weekend or the numbers are so far apart that they won’t change? Of these top 20 titles I’ve indicated the ones we played/bought with an asterisk below (13 of 20). We didn’t rent any Xbox 360 games in 2006.

We looked at the Call of Duty series a couple times but never pulled the trigger.

Also on Major’s list, we’ve bought 18 of the 20 top arcade titles (didn’t buy Bankshot Billiards or Bejeweled 2). Since we bought the Xbox 360s our first gen Xboxes haven’t been getting much action. Might polish off the dust and play the Xbox a bit this weekend, since we picked up a dozen or so Xbox games at bargain bin prices.
