Earlier today I mentioned the newly released Nintendo Wii browser but something else new this week on the Wii front is the Forecast Channel. In order to gain access to it you need to click on the icon in the Wii home area and wait for an update to load.

Since we don’t have the Wii turned on 24/7 I’m not sure how useful this channel will be, but it looks nice. I’m thinking if I was curious about the weather in a couple days I’d be more likely to check the forecast on the computer than in the middle of trying to bowl.
