Google (disclaimer: I own GOOG stock) has been working on their Blogger service and has added the following features:

- ability to use your Google account to login to Blogger (you can still use old Blogger login)
- customize templates
- create a private blog option, just add their email address and they can view
- added support for RSS 2.0 and ATOM 1.0
- dashboard organizational changes
- no more waiting for publishing, press the button and it is instantly published

I still have two blogger blogs, but neither has been updated for awhile, but it’s nice to see Google updating Blogger. Any readers that are regular Blogger bloggers?

Update 4:24pm PST: Forgot to mention one of the major new features: you can finally categorize posts by using tags.
