Deploying XNA Game Studio Express game Spacewar |

One of the first thing new Creators Club members will want to do is test their connection by deploying the Spacewar stater pack game included with XNA Game Express. Deploying this game is a matter of doing the following steps:
STEP 1. On the Xbox 360, navigate to the “Demos and More” section and launch the XNA Game Launcher. Choose settings.

STEP 2. Generate a Connection Key. Be sure to write this down because you need to add this in the next step.

STEP 3. On you Windows machine launch XNA Game Studio Express. Go to TOOLS->Options. Under “XNA Game Studio Xbox 360″ choose to “add” your Xbox 360 console. Give it a name, I used our gamertag, and then enter the Connection Key you generated in STEP 2. Now, create a new project and choose “Spacewar Xbox 360 Starter Kit” option and name the project whatever you want I chose the name spacewar1.

STEP 4. On the Xbox 360 choose “Connect to Computer.” Return to the Spacewar Xbox 360 project on your Windows machine and choose “BUILD->Deploy spacewar1″ (or whatever title you used in STEP 3). On the Xbox 360 if your connection is working you should begin to see files being transferred. Just FYI, my Windows machine is in a different room and connected wirelessly over the LAN to the Xbox 360.

STEP 5. After all the files are transferred on your Xbox 360 you can go to the launch game screen and should see Spacewar, available to be clicked on and played.

STEP 6. Enjoy!
