Down here in Toledo, it's been coming down hard. I heard some branches cracking when I was out earlier, and my Eucalyptus tree tipped over. :( Molly, my peke, had a similar reaction to Sterling's Halley. I had to carry her out to the grass. She wasn't going to leave the porch. I heard the Cowlitz is going to be pretty deep. Hope I can get to the freeway in the morning!

Yeah, it's a mess over here on Bainbridge, too. Halley didn't even want to go out for our run this morning. She was sleeping by the heater I put out for her in the garage, and when I came out she just looked up at me with one eye as if to say, "Are you serious?"

We've got 100-foot-plus cedars and hemlocks around our house, swaying in the winds. My wife worries that the roots are getting too soggy and we might have some of them come down. That could get ugly indeed.
