AudioShell lets you tag audio files inside Windows Explorer

This could be of added interest to fellow podcasters and audiophiles: AudioShell is freeware for Windows allows editing audio files within Windows Explorer by simply right clicking the properties of the file and applying changes. It supports MP3, WMA, ASF, WMV, MP4, OGG, FLAC, MPC, MP+, wav and more audio formats. There is also support for easily adding album art to MP3 files in .JPG or .BMP format.

  1. It sounds great. Free of charge to edit audio files. I paid xilisoft audio converter to edit the audio files and then put them on my mp3 player, easy to use though.

  2. It is not using explorer to do it, but I use id3-tagit (id3-tagit.de) for my tagging. I do a bit of bit-torrent with live shows and convert to mp3 using dbpoweramp and then tag with id3-tagit. A very nice combination.
