Travel east of hell to heaven |

We’re back now, so regular programming will be rebooting shortly. While sifting through the email, RSS backlog and returning phone calls, I thought it would be interesting to share some sights of one of the scenic places we visited. The Salmon River runs just east of Hell’s Canyon in Idaho and is the longest free flowing river (425 miles) in the lower 48 states.

Wouldn’t you just love to be drifting on a boat down this river?

Beautiful drive which can be followed here (top-most Google map). The trip driving south on 95 was 378 miles.

Beautiful! Welcome back.

Thanks Sterling. I was telling our neighbor earlier that I want to retire some place like this. My only concern was internet connectivity as I see that as an important way of getting entertainment in the future and I wouldn’t want to live some place confined to dialup only for entertainment.
Hopefully long before we retire, broadband will be ubiquitous.

I’m betting on world-wide wireless myself.

I think my point about authority was a reference to the writers of b5. What I tried to do, as best as I could was avoid corporate PR speak. The writers today and in the future represent the core, of couse, and there would be nothing without great writers, for sure.” – Comment by rick segal — October 6, 2006 @ 9:25 am […]
