Live.com search results

Starting to see some live.com search referrals in the stats, which is only noteworthy because a few have reported problems elsewhere with not seeing live.com search referrer information.

As mentioned the other day, MSN/Live has been sending good, relevant search visitors to one of our newer websites. It’s the only SE of the GYM trio that is so far at this point. Google treats this site better than any other search engine and has since the beginning. Ask and MSN/Live are in the top 10 for referrers. Yahoo? Nowhere to be found.

I don’t know what Yahoo has against our company but none of our websites have done that well in Yahoo since the late 90s. I’m all ears if any current Yahoo SE gurus are reading as to what we’re doing wrong or could improve upon. Only whitehat suggestions, please. Feel free to Skype them to me if you don’t want to use the comment section.

  1. I’ve never had much luck with Yahoo eighter (less then 10 hits per day).. Msn isn’t really bad, but nothing tops Google. I guess being in the Yahoo directory would probably help, but I’ve never been able to get my blog included in there, and I really don’t want to use their paid submission form.
