Sega games for Wii virtual console, it’s a great time to be a classic videogamer |

With the announcement earlier today that the iTunes store is now carrying some retro titles for the iPod like Pac-man (actually that’s the only retro title), and the ongoing push with Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays (Lumines after midnight tonight!), it has never been a better time on the new consoles to be a classic videogaming fan.
Speaking of iTunes, I was just able to download iTunes 7 and install on my Mac. First thing I did was dive in and see what game titles they had for the iPod.
9 games total ($44.91 for all 9 or $4.99 each) - Vortex, Tetris, Pac-Man, Cubis2, Zuma, Texas Hold ‘em, Mini Golf, Mahjong and Bejeweled.

ESRB search reveals seven Sega games coming for the Wii Virtual Console: Toe Jam & Earl, Ecco The Dolphin, Sonic The Hedgehog, Columns, Altered Beast, Golden Axe and Ristar. Just enter “sega” and “wii” and you’ll see the results above.
Hat tip to IGN.
