Montana loop Labor Day to end summer |

Given the choice between staying inside or going outside and away, we chose the latter this past Labor Day weekend, traveling to Montana for a loop from Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho past Sandpoint and then east across to Kalispell, Montana, south to Missoula and back to Coeur D’ Alene [Montana loop via Google Maps].

A beautiful, scenic drive letting cool air off water move in through window slits.

We stayed one night in Poulson, Montana and I took the picture above and below on Labor Day morning yesterday.

We arrived back home in the wee hours this morning. Kids went back to school today. Another summer slides into the past. I’m glad we didn’t hang around over the weekend and did something spontaneous instead.

Nice pics. Welcome back!

Thanks mon
Seems like the Mariners are getting rained on in Detroit at the moment. They could have used some of the weekend weather up there right about now.
