I was surfing around Google this morning looking for the answer to something and found their permissions page which lists Google’s many trademarks. All of them, I think. If there is a more comprehensive list somewhere, please let me know in the comments below.

Recently there was controversy over Google being used as a verb and this page struck me as a good reference of how many terms Google has trademarked. It could be interesting to compare this list to Microsoft’s trademarks list.

Also of interest is Google’s list of do not’s which includes:

# Don’t copy or imitate Google’s trade dress, including the look and feel of Google web design properties or Google brand packaging, distinctive color combinations, typography, graphic designs, product icons, or imagery associated with Google
# Don’t adopt marks, logos, slogans, or designs that are confusingly similar to our Brand Features.
