Today, a conscious effort needs to be made to avoid the wedges that have been used to separate us from family. People now-a-days have an axe to grind(personal interests in the matters and private ends to meet). Majority feels it a burden to look after their old parents and grandparents and even if they do, thats simply because of their wish to be a part of their inherent property and will.
