Create a playlist of the hit songs and albums for all your birthdays (UK charts)

customer adventures, music, How To — by TDavid @ 11:02 am PST

With the everyhit.com date engine you can find out what songs were #1 on your birthday.

Then you can go a step further and display the hit songs and/or albums for every birthday through history and create the ultimate birthday hit song playlist. For somebody who loves music, this could make a great birthday present. The only catch is that they would need to be born on/after 1952, as that was the date the hits charts were established. Just buy the songs via your favorite online music service and put them on a CD or a thumbdrive and wrap with a bow.

Speaking of birthdays, it is our middle son’s birthday today. He turns 15. Ahh, remember those days? Here is his single hits breakdown for his birthday:

A gift idea opportunity for online music stores
The online music services should include a function/feature like this and promote and promote as a birthday gift idea for music fans. That is assuming all these tracks are available online (some aren’t yet, like the Beatles) but they could put links to buy the CDs (with affiliate links) for the CDs containing any missing songs.

Too fun, thanks Digg.
