Creating your own Airzooka |
This might be something fun to do with the family over the 4th of July. My first experience with an Airzooka was at the first Seattle Mind conference.
At the time I didn’t know the garbage can/air vortex device these guys were using was called an Airzooka, but this morning I came across this guide for building one and instantly recalled where I’d seen one being used before.
Basically an Airzooka is a drum with a slightly elastic end that can be stretched and let go like a rubber band which creates a vortex of air pushing forward, enough to knock off somebody’s cap or soda cans stacked in the distance. Silly, unproductive and stupid fun. There are actually companies selling Airzookas, but why not just build it yourself?
Did this post make you go hmm?
