Anybody tried Partition Logic? |
Partition Logic is a free partitioning tool that can not only create, delete, format, defragment, resize, and move partitions and modify their attributes but also copy entire hard drives.

Self-described as: “It boots from a CD or floppy disk and runs as a standalone system, independent of your regular operating system. It is intended to become a free alternative to such commercial programs as Partition Magic, Drive Image, and Norton Ghost.”
Any readers tried this one? I was looking for a partitioning tool a couple weeks back. We have Partition Commander (which I don’t recommend, BTW).
Did this post make you go hmm?

Try the GParted LiveCD at http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php. It’s a bootable linux CD image that automatically loads GParted to edit your partitions.
I’ve used this several times over the past month and have been suitably impressed. It’s free and it just works.
