The Mariners are on a run aren't they? Like 12 of the last 16 they've won. Now if they can only start winning on the road against teams at the top of their division we'll really get something going. It's hard to move up when you only beat up on the teams at the bottom of the division.

Oh, and BTW, thanks much for the vote of confidence about my blog's future success. I have to say that I have learned a lot about this space directly from you, TD. I could wish to be as good at this as you are, my friend. If I should ever hit the "big time" (whatever that means), you're coming with me -- probably ahead of me.

Hey TDavid, thanks for the mention! Happy Father's Day to you as well, although belated. We had a quiet day here at home yesterday. Everyone let me sleep in (including the dog). They all made cards for me (including the dog). My youngest son, who is on the autism spectrum, even wrote a poem for me, which I will cherish forever. He also read, for the very first time in his life, a complete book to my wife and me: Hop on Pop. We all watched the Mariners win their sixth in a row, and my wife made her signature steaks for dinner. It was a very good day.

Wow, I am honored to be on this list, thanks and happy Father's Day to you, TDavid.

For an example of a dad that's gone the extra mile again and again for his kids, I would refer you to Alek Komarnitsky at http://www.komar.org/ . He's done some amazing online fund-raisers to help support research into celiac disease, which both of his boys have. Alek is the guy who allows tens of thousands of Christmas lights on his house to be controlled via a web interface.

There's a ton of interesting stuff on his site.
