Ever wake up and think it’s a different day?

health and lifestyle — by TDavid @ 11:06 am PST

Disorientation alert. Woke up this morning and was absolutely convinced it was Monday. Kind of bummed too because I had more work to do on Sunday. Has that ever happened to you? Lost a day? Had a shorter weekend than you expected?

Took longer than it should — could have just pulled up the day/date on my desktop — but when I realized it was actually Sunday it was good news. Weird, I know. Come on, admit it, you’ve woke up disoriented about day/date/time before? Haven’t you?

No dreams last night either.

(and no, didn’t drink anything or take any drugs — all naturally disoriented)

Did this post make you go hmm?

  1. Happens to me all the time. Except I wake up the day after Monday and its already Friday. Too much to do, I guess.

  2. Yeah, I’ve done this before and felt like a total jack@ss when I realized it was not the day I thought it was.
I can also remember a time last year when I had put in a long day at work, got home and was just beat. I crashed and woke up a few hours later at 8:00 and didn’t know if it was 8:00pm or 8:00am! I was in a panic for a few seconds as I have to be to work at 4:00am and, for a second or two, thought I might be 4 hours late!! To figure it out, I turned on the television to see if Good Morning America was on! Thankfully it was PM and not AM :)
