Day 23 of 24 Da Vinci Quest: Google throws Geography Challenge slider |
To our surprise for Day 23 — and that’s a good thing for any puzzle — Day 23 is not the video challenge (pictured below), it’s the final Geography challenge.

Onto Day 23 puzzle. The first time we saw this challenge, it was just put the jigsaw puzzle together and answer a question, on Geography Challenge #2 they mixed in a hide and go seek object and in challenge #3 we had to find not one object, but four “blades” and then finally identify what was intersected at the X by the location of the four blades.
This week we’ll you’ll need to solve the puzzle, answer a question, then find nine cinquefoil icons, which don’t get nervous yet, they are all fairly easy to find. It’s not over yet, an intersection waits and X marks the spot.
Or does it?
No, it doesn’t. You need to answer a somewhat tricky question — no bolded text — about the appearance of the Geography challenge hide and go seek objects over the entire quest. The way that sentence sounds it’s harder than it seems.
Tip: Just Google the question and you’ll be one puzzle away from completing the entire game.
This means tomorrow will be the Observation Challenge, which to this point has been one of the easier challenges to date. Will Google mix in something extremely challenging tomorrow? Perhaps we’ll have to watch even longer trailers being released tomorrow to answer a series of obscure video-related questions?
We’ll find out in less than 24 hours from this post.
Did this post make you go hmm?

I couldn’t find the sequence answer anywhere so I IM’d my brother to ask him. It sucks that tomorrow it the video because I do this at work and I don’t have sound, so those always hold me up.
Good Luck to everyone tomorrow.

I tried something a little different locating the 9th foil. I used the windows accessability magnifier. start->access->accessability->magnifier. Found it within 3 minutes. As far as the trivia/search - your on yer own
Hope that helps!

As mentioned in IRC, Lestat, that’s a great tip. Thanks for sharing.

I feel so stupid I still can’t get Day 23’s final answer.

Identifying the city was easy given the two clues, I found the symbols extremely easy and using google found the answer to the question in almost no time… I think this was actually a record question for me.. the quickest to solve of all of them to date.
And I’m very glad the video is tomorrow. As with McKinney I typically do this at work during the week, several hours after it comes out due to the time difference, and have no sound. The final question I’ll be setting my alarm to get up at home so I at least have a chance. (I’m rather glad my home computer problems were fixed two days ago too
