Day 21 of 24 Da Vinci Quest: final Curator Challenge |
Yesterday at Wal-Mart we saw a Da Vinci package for $21.95 and almost sprung for it, but decided against, instead to check the website from home
Turns out there are 288 results for “Da Vinci Code” at Walmart including the PS2 and Xbox game that is going to be released 5/15, a few days before the movie hits the theater. Too bad no Xbox 360 Da Vinci game (?) will also be released at that time. We didn’t see the package we saw at Walmart in the collection which came with several Da Vinci related items.

Day 21 brings us to the final Curator Challenge and hooking paintings on the wall. After arranging the paintings in the proper order, a question — again, like yesterday, comes from Google Book Search — was required. Your question will likely differ from mine.
Puzzle Tip: Place the biggest painting first and work your way backwards from there.
Today’s puzzle was completed fairly quickly. What puzzles remain? Chess (answer questions and move pieces around to checkmate), Observation (watching videos and answering questions) and perhaps the hardest challenge to end the contest on Wednesday: Geography. It’s possible the order of these could change. Or maybe the final puzzle for these three challenges will be something new we’ve never seen.
We’ll find out soon.
Did this post make you go hmm?

Nope, my guess is that it’ll be wash, rinse, repeat for the DVCQuest. Curator puzzle solved in 2 minutes flat- A new record!
Curator: 37 seconds
After-Puzzle Question: 1 minute 23 seconds
Geography will be the last one, and I’m sure it’ll piss me off once more. I pray that I make it into the top 10,000. Unfortunately, I remember that I have testing when the puzzle is supposed to happen.. Bad news for me..

This one and the first Sudoku style are my favorites. I’ll miss them.
