Batch convert, compress and resize BMP to JPG |
BIMP Lite is freeware that allows converting of a directory full of BMP images to other formats like JPG:

Not a fancy interface but useful if you don’t want to run a batch job in Photoshop and need to convert a bunch of BMP images to another format. You can compress and resize them at the same time.
Here’s a good tip for renaming a bunch of files in Windows in bulk that I saw this week at Lifehacker coming from Yahoo Answers:
Once all the files you want to rename are highlighted, press F2, or right-click on one of the files and select Rename. All of your file selections will disappear except for one, but don’t panic: Type in your new name and click Enter.
Any other good time-saving file-related tips to share?
Did this post make you go hmm?

Handy tip on renaming multiple files. Thanks.

Easyer: Simply upload your bmp file to myimg.info and it will automaticly be converted to jpg
If you got a large batch, just zip them and upload the zip file.
