I think the line between "professional" and "amateur" gets really blurred when it comes to blogging. You're making money at this, so technically you're a professional. On the other hand, the people who pay you aren't directing your content. As Winer noted earlier, that actually gives you an edge -- nobody to answer to but yourself. I see Dave also gave you an <a href="http://scripting.wordpress.com/2006/04/27/scripting-news-for-4272006/">"Amen"</a> on this post.

That's a real shame that there is fighting over something stupid like that. Hacking Netflix is THE site that I go to, to stay in tune with the new releases that are coming out on a weekly basis, for which they publish a complete list, and also for everything and anything I might want to know about Netflix. My only gripe is that they get a bit obsessive on the "throttling" issue, but I understand it, because the same people that care about Hacking Netflix links on Wikipedia, also are pissed that they are only getting 10 movies per week instead of 14! (insert massive sarcasm on that previous gripe towards the end)

I don't think you're an amateur either - AND, you mention the occasional ROCKER of a CD, which makes you more than alright in my book!!
