Day 10 of 24 Da Vinci Quest: it’s video time again

movies, gaming — by TDavid @ 2:25 pm PST

There is a full trailer now available on Google Video for the Da Vinci Code movie coming next month, but that’s not the video you will need to watch for Day 10 of 24 in the Da Vinci Quest.

Day 10 of 24 in the Da Vinci Quest

Our main man Silas is the subject of today’s three question Observation challenge. It’s kind of interesting how Google is blending in their search and video with the puzzles. These observation challenges though are more like those watch the DVD and answer question games. Tomorrow will be either the chess or geography challenge. Looking forward to the chess one, anyway.

  7. First question, count the number of angles, and remember your Greek lessons :) Name the numerical for the number of angles in that thing in Greek, and add the Greek for “corner”. Hint: main U.S. military building’s name is in Greek, and fits this metaphor.

As for the third question, imagine yourself what could possibly a transparent liquid in a church could be (that is available for anyone for any purpose). Hint: two-words.

    Yep, it works. Double-checked that.

  9. ***SPOILER ALERT*** The answer to the second question is Holy Water, but I am stumped on the first and last questions. Does anyone know the answers? If so, please let me know!

    Thanks.

  10. I got the first one right off the bat, the third one I got after watching the clip again. But I agree, the second one was a little tricky. I ended up pausing the video clip and noticed two things: the rim was round (*not* like a toilet seat) and the ceiling was definitely not in a bathroom. Bingo.

  11. 1. Octagon
    2. Holy Water

    Anyone know #3?

  12. 3. Silence

Now that was dumb. They say it about 1/2 through the clip.

  15. ***SPOILER ALERT*** ***SPOILER ALERT*** ***SPOILER ALERT*** ***SPOILER ALERT*** Number three be; the opposite of noise. It can’t be physically broken, but none the less it is broken when noise is introduced. (i.e., a monk breaks this vow when he speaks) (S@C#I$L%E^N&C*E)
