Day 5 of 24 Da Vinci Quest: first chess challenge |
Friday is my busiest web day of the week, so didn’t have much time for today’s Google Da Vinci Quest puzzle. Turns out it’s a chess game where we need to checkmate the black knight by answering, er, Googling three questions.

I found only one of the three answers in Google and instead resorted to just hovering over the answers and looking at the chess moves. Experienced, or even semi-experienced chess players probably won’t need to bother with doing any Google searches. Good luck fellow Da Vinci Questers, although you won’t need it. These puzzles are barely qualifying as puzzles.
Come on, Google, I called you guys smart a couple days back. These puzzles have been embarassingly easy thus far. Let’s hope the weekend it gets at least a little harder. Maybe they are saving the tough ones for when they know people will have more time? The only thing puzzling about these puzzles so far has been the complexity. All it takes is one hard puzzle though to change everything.
This weekend? Maybe?
Did this post make you go hmm?
