Taking notes on a tablet in the shower, literally |
Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a waterproof Tablet PC?

I bet there probably already is such an animal. Note to crowd who craves a non-powered tablet in the shower for those, well, inspirational shower thought moments, look no further than the shower tablet ($17.99 via Yahoo). This kind of reminds me of those shower speakers which onr Hmm reader said he was on his fourth defective unit (ouch).
The shower tablet is one of the 10 strangest home gadgets, but my favorite is probably the pong clock. And how about that washing, drying, ironing machine?
Did this post make you go hmm?

Very interesting tool. I have a friend who actually has, and uses, this. He really likes it. I wonder what the Moleskine crowd would think of this?

Cool Phil! Does that ink really not get washed away like in the picture? What did your friend say about it?

re: Waterproof Tablet PC - there are ruggedized tablets (typically for military or police use, but also for industrial use) that cost thousands of $US more than consumer versions, but there is a cheaper option: Otter Box makes a case for the Fujitsu Stylistic ST4000 & ST5000. (I have no affiliation w/ Otter Box - I just want a ruggedized and/or waterproof tablet ;-))

Thanks for stopping by, protected static, I’ve seen the otterbox stuff before at CES in 2005. Definitely rugged stuff. Good point.

Now THAT I do like. Very much. I get a lot of my ideas in the bathroom so that would definitely come in handy. And I don’t think it’s a strange gadget at all - I think it’s quite practical, actually.
