Mibazaar local news and map mashup |
Just throw in your zip code (or a zip code to a big town near you) and then Mibazaar will show you where it is on the map and local news from that area.

This web app mashes Yahoo Geocoding + Google News RSS Feeds and displays Yahoo Publishing Network ads. Kind of interesting. Too bad it doesn’t remember your zip code on return visits or try to parse your IP address and come up with a nearby zip code. Maybe a future version will offer these features.
Did this post make you go hmm?
