Intel Macs get the XP OS X dual boot |
Since announcing and releasing Intel based Apple Macintosh computers Steve Jobs never said Macs wouldn’t be able to run Windows and now courtesy of beta software now available called bootcamp that reality has arrived for the new intel-based Macs. Sorry fellow eMac users, we’re out of luck.

Bootcamp is offered as a standalone beta download now but will be baked into the next version of OS X Leopard that is expected in early 2007.
Next year will bear some hardware fruit in our businesses and maybe home too. I see a future of a possible intel-based Mac upgrade and at least one new computer with Vista preinstalled on it. This year I have the UMPC/Origami on my radar and an Xbox 360 (which I still haven’t seen in any retail store around here). In fact, at the rate things are going I might be buying the UMPC before an Xbox 360. Something tells me those are going to be easier to find in stores than the Xbox 360.
Did this post make you go hmm?
