v5: Mariners spring training photos |
We’ve been hanging out down in the Seattle Mariners Spring Training zone in Peoria, Arizona this week. Have taken lots of pictures, but haven’t fired up the computer much. Impressive to see the Mariners have their own street right near the stadium which they share as home with the San Diego Padres.

Tickets are reasonably priced. You can get a lawn seat for $6 USD or go all the way up to $30 a seat, but those were sold out. We were able to walk in the day of the game (Sunday) and buy tickets for the six of us along the third base side in the bleachers.

As you can see from the picture below we were still pretty close to the field. The atmosphere and ambience reminded me of being at a triple A game.

I’m so ready for baseball. In a couple weeks the baseball season will be on, anybody else ready?

Hell yes. We’re counting the days. And this year we signed up for DirecTV’s MLB Extra Innings, so even if the Mariners aren’t playing we can get our BB fix.
GO MARINERS! Uh, hope they do better in the regular season, though.

We have enjoyed the NFL Ticket on DirecTV and I’ve thought about the MLB one, but wow, so many, many games, I’d probably never get any work done.

Who needs work when there’s baseball to be watched? Hey, I thought about you yesterday while I was watching the Mariners lose to the Rockies. Sitting in my nice warm den in front of the big screen with the sunshine pouring in through the picture window, wondering if you were shivering in the stands beneath the rain in ARIZONA.
