OneNote 2007 minimum UI mode |
Chris Pratley PM for the Office Authoring Services team describes how OneNote 2007 will fit the Origami/Ultimate Mobile PC:
OneNote 2007 has a new mode we currently call “minimal UI mode” (insert sexy name here). It’s designed to cut out distractions for when you really just want to take notes. Those of you with tablet PCs also know that the more screen space that can be devoted to ink the better since you tend to write much larger than you type.
OneNote remains my favorite app to come out of Microsoft in years. It works best with Tablet PCs, particularly those of us with slates, so I can see how it will fit nicely into these new UMPCs.
Anybody making plans to buy one of these UMPCs yet when they hit the streets?
