Ink is still superior for notetaking, annotation and click and dragging objects around. I can write faster than I type and Microsoft's ink recognition, though not outstanding, is pretty darn good at making out my chicken scratches. I think completely ink-driven websites online remain fertile ground for development and promotion. There just aren't that many out there for this niche. This is among the long list of things I'd like to spend more time exploring.

I don't get the whole ink craze. Even though I never learned to type properly (see http://www.chipstips.com/microblog/index.php/post/37/), my handwriting is far worse. When I sign something, I'm often asked if I'm a doctor. I was relieved to start on-line banking -- no more writing checks. I can understand using a pen for editorial work like circling and X-ing, maybe cutting and pasting, and especially drawing -- but when it comes to text, all I ask is a keyboard and a star to steer her by.

TDavid's List of 7 Things To Do In Ink On-line

TDavid always seems to come up with another source to work or play in INK on-line. Now he's compiled a list of 7 sites where the pen is mightier than the keyboard. Checkout his list and check them out here.
