I can write faster than I type and Microsoft's ink recognition, though not outstanding, is pretty darn good at making out my chicken scratches. I think completely ink-driven websites online remain fertile ground for development and promotion. There just aren't that many out there for this niche. Even though I never learned to type properly (see http://www.chipstips.com/microblog/index.php/post/37/), my handwriting is far worse. When I sign something, I'm often asked if I'm a doctor. I was relieved to start on-line banking -- no more writing checks. I can understand using a pen for editorial work like circling and X-ing, maybe cutting and pasting, and especially drawing -- but when it comes to text, all I ask is a keyboard and a star to steer her by.
