Don’t break the 4 things chain

I’ve been tagged by Toby Bloomberg and Warner Crocker for this Four Things tagging chainmail. The idea is for folks to run through their list of grouped four things and then tag four other bloggers they know to continue the chain.

I do appreciate these kind bloggers tagging me, thank you, but I’m going to be a broken link in the chain. Not a thing that makes me go hmm. Any readers who would like to get involved in this type thing just consider I have tagged you now and you can answer on your own blog or in the comments the following list of four questions:

4 Jobs I’ve Had, 4 Movies I Can Watch Over & Over, 4 TV Shows I Love To Watch, 4 Places I’ve Been On Vacation, 4 Favorite Dishes, 4 Websites I Visit Daily, 4 Places I’d Rather Be, 4 Bloggers I’m Tagging.

Not trying to be the spoiled sport, but I think over the last 3,000 posts I’ve answered most of these questions anyway. If I was feeling particularly energetic this morning I’d try and track down and link them here.

I doubt many readers care to know what four places I’d rather be when I’m here writing. I know I’d be annoyed as a reader seeing that list. Sounds a little bit like I’m saying: “Sucks to be here writing this post, here is where I’d rather be.” If I’m here writing then there is no place I’d rather be. This isn’t a job, this is something I enjoy. If I didn’t enjoy writing, I wouldn’t do it.

But again, I do appreciate any other blogger thinking of me and linking and thus I made this post mostly to say thank you for thinking of me Warner and Toby (and anybody else who might have tagged me that I didn’t see).

Good place to mention the chorus to a song I wrote back in 1986 for our band Sacred Fire:

Don’t break the chain of broken hearts,
don’t break the chain
don’t break the chain
don’t break the chain
and let it all fall apart

Maybe I should link up the MP3 to our band playing this song (20 years old, yowsa!). I bet Warlock would appreciate the mellow to ripping guitar solo at the end. Hmm …

  1. Man,

I don’t know if I want to soil the stellar reputation you have built with me by hearing some 20 year old Dokkenesque solo!
