Osbournes human aware toilet sells with famous mansion for $10.8 million |
Would only Ozzy Osbourne and family buy a toilet that automatically lifts and heats itself when you enter the room? Turns out, the answer is no, somebody else was willing, although it took a few months and $10.8 million. This is the same Hollywood mansion where the hit Osbournes series was filmed.
Our family was down for the first season and bought it on DVD, but sort of lost interest in it after that. A family that swears incessantly, and yet somehow lovingly, at each other — even the Osbournes — can only be funny for so long.
A couple of years ago during our annual family vacation in July we cruised stars homes in Beverly Hills and took a picture of the famous mansion. I’ll have to poke around and see if I can find those photos to add one to this or a future Ozzy-related blog entry.
On the music scene, daughter Kelly Osbourne hasn’t done very well, but she continues to insult other more talented artists. She’s like the queen troll of the music scene. Son Jack Osbourne has had an “extreme-adventure factual entertainment series” picked up by UK distributor Minotaur.
As for the Ozzman? I heard he wasn’t going to be fronting any more Ozzfests, but not sure if that means Ozzfest itself is going further or not? Last rumor I heard about his band was that he was looking for a replacement guitairst for Zakk Wylde and found one: Zakk Wylde. Bizarre? Not for Ozzy and company who just never stop making me go hmm. I wonder if/when we’ll see a new album? And if his voice is completely toast? If/when a new studio album is ever released and it doesn’t sell, then they can always drag up the story of sniffing ants with Motley Crue. That is bound to move a few more copies.
Did this post make you go hmm?

You did this just to make up for the Air Supply post earlier. It’ll take more than one Ozzy post to get past that.
