TechCrunch review: Nov 15 - Dec 31 2005 |
45 days ago I compiled a review/update for the new/upgraded sites that TechCrunch listed for the previous 45 days. I created a simple script which scanned the OPML file and then date sorted it because I find date sorting more useful for historical reference. Recently, I left a comment in Mr. Arrington’s techcrunch comments asking if/when the OPML file would be updated and he indicated that soon TechCrunch will be offering a more dynamic system.
Cool! Sounds like this might very well be the last post I need to do like this. If you aren’t subscribed to TechCrunch, get subscribed now as it is one of the best blogs to come along in the last year or so. Also, Guy Kawasaki has started blogging (thanks Scoble). Subscribed. I received a review copy of Guy’s last book: Art of the Start and blogged about it here a year ago.
In the meantime, here is a second list which includes the last 45 days of TechCrunch profiles (November 15 - December 31). As was the case last time, very little feedback from me follows on these sites/services/software. I will write — and in some cases already have written — detailed reviews for some of them that catch my eye for whatever reason. In the meantime, for more details visit the websites themselves and TechCrunch.

[…] Meeting other champs The networking aspect of this event was fantastic. Met a few people I’ve written about on this blog like Michael Arrington from TechCrunch. I was delighted to learn that he liked what I’d done with the dated OPML file Nov 15 - Dec 31, 2005 and was interested in talking to me more directly about that. Because I hadn’t heard back from him when I wrote about this originally, I didn’t really know where we stood. Now, I’ve made a connection which might lead to some other interesting things down the road. Search Champs facillitated this meeting. Michael, if you happen to be reading this, then I will definitely be getting back to you in the near future on the other thing you asked me to look at. […]
