“No crazy, flashy, graphical doodads … ever,” says Google |
Here’s some good news for fellow shareholders and users worried about that 5% skeletal handshake with AOL Google just closed: Marissa Mayer posted late yesterday the following assurance to the possibility of ad corruption:
There will be no banner ads on the Google homepage or web search results pages. There will not be crazy, flashy, graphical doodads flying and popping up all over the Google site. Ever.
“Ever” is a long, long time, and I’m sure glad to read it used in these terms. Thank you, Marissa! Buying 5% of AOL has had no negative impact yet with GOOGle stock. It’s still hovering in the $400-$430 range.
Did this post make you go hmm?
