Got this email from Apple yesterday:

Dear TDavid,

You are receiving this email because a slotting fee or a bonus payment is being added to your next check. You don’t have to do anything, and will remain in the same offer as before. Watch for the bonus/slotting fee payment addition in your future invoice!

I thought, hmm, bonus payment, right on! And then received this email some 30 minutes later:

Please disregard our earlier email with the “slotting fee” subject line. It was inadvertently mailed to you. However, we are pleased to offer you a limited-time offer to earn extra commissions on the iMac G5 …

Thrill of victory, and 30 minutes later, the agony of … doh!
