Becoming a Veteran of Apple’s Psychic Wars |
Couldn’t hold off on buying music from iTMS any longer. Now officially a victim, a veteran of Apple’s psychic war.

The growling crescendo guitar solo for Veteran of the Psychic Wars by Blue Oyster Cult from Extraterrestrial Live blows me away. The song is downright creepy, with a thunderous we-will-rock-you-esque drum backbeat, a completely mental bass line, and psychic lyrics like:
We’ve been living in the flames
We’ve been eating up our brains
Oh, please don’t let theses shakes go on
Eating up our brains — or at least my brain. It’s like George Romero meets Stephen King meets classic rock. 99 cents plus tax? Yes, yes, yes! I thought I might be able to hold out until 2006 or longer, but nope, the psychic war won.
How many iTMS songs have you bought?

I can go to my grave telling folks that I was a veteran of Apple’s psychic war, we’re you? share/bookmark: MyWeb | del.icio.us | digg it! […]
