I never take my laptop into the bathroom. What can I say: I watch too many horror films where someone’s in the bath and all of a sudden something electrical decides to go walkies into the tub. The laptop in the hallway is as close as to the bathroom as I’m prepared to go. The Speaker System you mentioned comes a close second. Might check it out. Cheers.

I bought one and really want to keep it. However, I’m on my fourth unit as two were defective and one went through batteries at the rate of six a day. If others have a comment on another product which provides this function (i.e. waterproof), please post it to my blog.

As for the unit, it’s fine for what it does, however I would like it to do more. I would like it to have a display so you can choose what to play from your song list as well as the ability to pause songs and the like. If you’re using it as part of your PC which is setup in another room, you need something like Clicker from Sailer software (sp) for this to best work.

The sound quality is fine for the shower - not amazing, but pretty good. The speaker can also go very loud if you turn up your mp3 player.

Uh, might want to relax mari AKA lala. Why the name change? We haven’t bought one of these speakers so can’t speak to the quality of them. Please write back and let us know what the quality is like as we’re curious.
