Review: Quiet Riot Guilty Pleasures (2001) |
The original bang your head, Metal Health rockers from the 80’s followed up their reunion album Alive and Well in 2001 with the CD: Guilty Pleasures.

Carlos Cavazo on guitars, Kevin Dubrow on vocals, Rudy Sarzo taking up the bass and Franki Banali on drums. The label, bodyguardrecords.com has since gone out of business, not a good sign.

I saw Quiet Riot in concert on their Condition Critical tour in the 80’s in Green Bay, Wisconsin and many of the tracks on Guilty Pleasures sound like they could have been part of a two record set in the 80s. It’s eerie.

My favorite track is “Let Me Be The One.” Quiet Riot fans should check this out, although you may have to hunt it down via an online retailer like I did ($4 via Amazon with shipping, woohoo). Grade: B.

After all, how can we expect to make money from online advertising if we don’t buy online? […]
