The Xbox 360 hunt begins … |
Last night we did stop by Best Buy around 6pm PST and preordered two Xbox 360 games: DOA 4 and Perfect Dark Zero.
We are loading into the car right now and on our way to buy a unit, if we can. We didn’t preorder the hardware, as I’ve written before, so the next time I check in I should have hard data on how available the system is in our area of the world anyway.

The shortage is indeed frustrating. I’m one of the many that pre-ordered months ago… only to be told that my XBox 360 would not be available on launch. In fact, I was told my order would be filled in early 2006. Huh?
Plan B: Call ~40 stores, gather intel, make a decision as to where to stand in line… then wait. I was successful in landing one, but I really don’t think anyone should have to go to such an extreme.
I can only hope production is able to accelerate. Otherwise, we’re in a big heap of trouble.
