This new Yahoo Travel Trip Planner looks neat and I’m going to test using it for our next trip. Actually as I write this a couple possible uses are pleasantly roundtripping inside my skull.

Yahoo just keeps on sharing their active coding travels with the rest of us and Yahoo Search Blog explains what this is/does:

Trip Planner is a new tool that helps you organize your travel research from Yahoo! Travel and all over the Web to a trip plan. Save hotels, attractions, and useful web sites into your trip plan, then add your own notes, tags, driving directions and more. When you’re done, you can share your trip with a few friends or with the entire Yahoo! Travel community.

This could be quite handy for summarizing family vacations and helping others find and prepare for spending quality vacation time. I did a quick search for Seattle trips (15 found) to see what came up. I noticed a number of restauarants we’ve never been to by one traveller’s notes. Useful info, thanks!

I had to check out Las Vegas trips (30 found) too because that’s one of our favorite places to visit.

Going to spend more time be able to provide more information after our next trip … somewhere. In the meantime, any readers that give this a try, please leave your comments/trackback tips & tricks for getting the most out of this.
